The altar, the bird and the torch are the symbols of everything, nothing can be done without them, they themselves are everything that is good and great. The torch is called:

Mâjusî 3

Four inscriptions surrounded these different emblems.

1. Sage.

2. Acorn used to remove hairs from wool.

3. Allusion to fire.

SECTION SIX

I turned away and saw a huge palace, its base resting on clouds, marbles composed its mass; its shape was triangular; four floors of columns rose one on top of the other. A golden ball finished this building. The first row of columns was white, the second black, the third green, the last shiny red. After admiring this work of eternal artists, I wanted to return to the place of the altar, the bird and the torch. I wanted to look at them one more time, but they were gone.

I looked for them with my eyes when the doors of the palace were opened, a venerable old man came out, his dress was similar to mine except that a golden sun shone on his chest, his right hand held a green branch, the other held a censer. A wooden chain was attached to his collar and a pointed tiara like that of Zoroaster covered his white head. He approached me; a benevolent smile on his lips. "Adore God", he said to me in Persian language, "it is he who has sustained you in the trials, his spirit was with you; my son you let the occasion escape, you could just grab the bird",
